Public Works engineering services are a staple of Core Engineering Group with projects ranging from roadway design, water and sewer line engineering, drainage, storm drain systems and retention projects.

Highlighted Design:

  • Arizona Department of Transportation - U.S. Highway 95 Box Culvert Replacement

  • Core developed the Scoping Letter and PS&E for the box culvert and the pipe culvert replacements. The box culvert and the pipe culverts experienced heavy deterioration due to the “hot soils” in the area. In this remote location, US95 has no viable detour, so Core successfully utilized precast box culverts to minimize the disruption to traffic.

  • San Luis, Arizona – City of San Luis Storm Downtown Storm Drain Project

  • Through a contract with the Yuma County Flood Control District, Core is providing final design services for the storm drain trunk system in the City of san Luis. The system was reconfigured to accommodate the Arizona Department of Transportation's reconstruction of Main Street. Core is providing project engineering and surveying.
